Reformatting hand-coded HTML automatically

Adobe GoLive lets you process HTML code you have entered yourself, reformatting it automatically with indents and line breaks; changing the case of tags and attributes; and setting quotes for attribute values as specified in Web Settings.

To process HTML code:

1 Switch to the Layout view.

2 Choose Special > Rewrite Source Code. Alternatively, you can right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) the page icon just below the Layout tab and choose Rewrite Source Code from the context menu.

Adobe GoLive rewrites the source code according to the options selected in the Global tab of Web Settings (Edit > Web Settings).
